Antenatal and Postnatal Care Package – £4,000
Personal care throughout pregnancy and in the postnatal period for four weeks, at home, and at times convenient to you. I will provide all your scheduled antenatal appointments: a booking appointment, 16 weeks, 24 weeks, 28 weeks and then fortnightly to 40 weeks. The first appointment will be used to take a complete history, and all appointments include blood pressure and urine checks, checking baby’s position and listening to baby’s heartbeat. Postnatally, I will visit when you return from hospital with your baby, and on days 3, 5, 7, 10, and 14, then weekly to four weeks: providing you with support to help you feed and care for your new baby. You are encouraged to book with your chosen hospital so they have your history available when you arrive there in labour, and can offer your screening (blood tests and scans). This package is ideal for women planning an elective caesarean section or hospital birth, who want the support and continuity of a known midwife throughout pregnancy and after birth.
Full Postnatal Care Package – £1,450
Bespoke care for six weeks following the birth of your baby. I will visit you at home before your baby is born to discuss what to expect in labour and birth and in the first hours and days with your new baby. I will then visit on your return from hospital, and on days 3, 5, 7, 10 and 14; then once a week to six weeks. Whether this is your first or a subsequent baby, the postnatal period can be a tricky and exhausting time. I will provide you with regular support and reassurance in the early days and ongoing support as you gain confidence: including support with feeding and helping you to learn about baby care, baby sleep and how to respond to your baby’s early needs.
Short Postnatal Care Package – £950
Personalised care in the first ten days after birth. I will visit you at home before your baby is born to discuss what to expect in labour and birth, and in the first hours and days with your new baby. I will then visit you at home when you return from hospital, and on days 3, 5, 7 and 10 (six visits). I will support you in these first 10 days with breastfeeding, and what to expect in terms of your baby’s behaviour and needs and how to care for and comfort him/her.
Ad hoc Postnatal Support – £145 per visit
One-off home visits to help you with breastfeeding, baby care and nurturing in the early days with your baby.
Antenatal Preparation Package – £300
Two 2-hour sessions in the comfort of your home, for you and your partner. The first, to discuss and explore options around labour and birth, tips for labour, birth and packing your hospital bag; the second to learn about the ‘fourth trimester’: breastfeeding a newborn baby, aspects of baby behaviour, and how to look after yourself and your baby in the early days. Ideal timing for these sessions is around 34-36 weeks.
